Madonna - Frozen

One of the most amazing songs from her and my very favorite. The composition of sound and vocals make my heart open and actually make me feel a bit sad, while I actually just become enchanted by it's strength and movement. The text makes feelings form themself in words and reach out to touch others. The video is surrealistic and the dark lines, shadows and blackcolour forms themself so well around the song. This is for me almost a happy song, though many would call it a sad song. My point of view is maybe wierd but I think the point of this song is to ask someone to fall in love with you so their heart could be warm again. Though you also could say she is sad beacuse this isn't going to happend. Hope you like it, with love, Matt Nynel.

Greek Music

Since I am in Greece right now I listen to a lot of greek music, mostly because of my friend knows all about it and partly because we don't want to do our studies and rather listen to MTV or MAD. My favorite artist is Helena Paparizou, the twice eurovision winner in Antique and as a solo artist with ''My Number One'' (she also opened the contest home in Greece with''MAMBO''), though I like her songs in greek better then the english texted once. ''Gigolo'' has two versions. Though I like ''Porta Gia Ton Ourano'' and ''Pirotexnimata'' on her newest album ''Vrisko To Logo Na Zo'' best, I quite love ''To'his I Den To'his'' also. Because of the greek letters there could be some confusen about the greeklish; greek writen in english letters.*
* Latin letters.

Another eurovision contestent I like, most of the famous commersial artist have been in eurovision, is Sakis Rouvas, he's also the one partisipating this years competition: I'm not a fan of eurovision and his song sucks...but ''Kai Se Thelo" is really good. If you search for it on youtube be sure to take the one from the MAD music awards; it has a japaneas theme to it, hihi or xixi as they write here. The same goes for the song ''Mesa Sou'' from Staventos feat. Helena Paparizou, I love that song, expesially when HP comes out with her really strong and sensual voice.

Last years winner: Kalimira, the compatibal of Britney Spears or something, havn't been that much on telivision though I quite liked ''My Secret Combination'', perhaps because of her american accent and not the greek. She grew up in America you see.

Anni Vissi is another greek artist I like. She's in her fifties or something and is the greek answear to Madonna and with her new video for ''Stin Pira'' you could see where the inspiration or rather the satire comes from. I've not look that much into what the text means, but almost as all greek text or videos there is a lot of sexuallthemes or at least themes about love (as in all cultures).

Know this came a bit of topic but as all things or maybe more because music is inspiration and since I love it so much I found out that I would write a bit about it. Next time it might be about japanease music; I really love Japan!

Hunted Love

In the darkest corner of the world,
where the light is needed the most and the life only nearly grows,
comes the evil to life and destoyes the most valuable in life.

Our love.
Our strenght is our mind for good,
see the truth and the light will come,
to save you from your own hate.
Evil is closing up, hunting you down,
to the end of the world.

The darkest hour has comed.
The hate will run in streams of blood.
Your love has left you and your heart is breaking!

Turn to me and I will help you.
Your heart will heal,
the love that we steal may help for a while,
but neither you or me come truth in mind when we love the wrong person.
Help yourself first so you can carry another,
when you are the strongest around.

Feel the truth and love.
Then the light will come!

Matt Nynel:
Another old thing, I've allways liked this one though I never really understood what I was thinking of at the time. Maybe you'll have better luck finding it out.

Why do we ask in love?

Why do we ask?
When we are in love?
About what's yet to come!
Because it's our task?

We hide our self inside a shell!
To dwell up on the mind!
Why can't we be kind?
Long down we got it like hell!

So go free and peacefull.
Forget what you fear.
When the time is right,
the wounds will heal.

Also a old poem that I've postet before, I grant each poem a post each, just to get more posts really, haha. Matt Nynel.

Angel of Fire

This is an old poem I made, it's not perfect but I think it's quite nice. It've been posted on my myspacepage before, but thought I would post it here too since I want to gather in everything I've made so far and will make in the future. In addition to this I'm thinking of writing about other things that concern me and what I do, though this would probably become secondary postries (is it allowed to write it that way?). Haha. Well...take care. Matt Nynel.

Angels

Those where the days
When I just relaxed
Then someone says
And asked

Would you with me fly
To the end of the world
High above the sky
Untill we get so old

That our bodies collapse
While our souls stay on
With our hearts attached
Trough the skys into the sun

I said yes
And we flyed away
I guess
Never to stay
Again!

Blackend Flame

My burnt feathers break
down to the ground they fall
like leaves in autumn

from their ashes I see death
the dead hope of my old life
being ript apart

and spread like splinters
parts of mye blackend heart
darken by tears of faith

a faith that never was
I stand alone in the shadow
lonley in the dark

and the hate get ground
a power so big I can't let go
from within I unlease it

the wrath of my youth
every part of my body burns
the darkest flame comes

destructive and crule
it flowes through my wains then
licking my skin

like fever I felt it grow
growing like a flower at spring
letting nothing stop it

before the sun gives it light
the light gives me strenght too
but where the flower lives

I am doomed to die
but no sin have I made without
of one that is being me

myself is never good enough
so why try to be someone else
when I only want to be

the one I have allways been
myself wholy and alone here
in the darkness

that have lighten my fire
a flame much stronger than dawn
giving not life but death

I have becomed whole
but every part of me screams
that I have died

a death incarnated
the white angle of fire burns
everything in his way

even his own self
trapped by emotions far gone
he playes his last tune
